Save a Young Mother's Life Today

$10 Provide Young Mother Menstrual Kit

$50 Provide class supplies for term

$200 Provides new sewing machine for class

Life skills are not just important for refugees fleeing from South Sudan into Uganda; they are absolutely vital, particularly for young mothers who arrive with nothing more than their children and an overwhelming desire for a better life. With limited resources and opportunities, they face immense challenges in providing for themselves and their families. Without the necessary skills to make a living, they risk falling into the depths of poverty and becoming vulnerable to sex trafficking, a grim reality that no one should have to endure.

Amigos Internacionales recognizes the urgent need to support these individuals, which is why we have stepped in to make a difference. Through our comprehensive education programs, we instill hope and empower these vulnerable refugees to shape a brighter future for themselves and their children. We firmly believe in the transformative power of teaching crucial life skills, equipping them with the tools and knowledge necessary to navigate their new environment and build self-sustainability.

At Amigos, we are dedicated to creating lasting opportunities for growth and self-sufficiency, leaving no one behind. With your support, we can continue to make a profound impact in the lives of these resilient individuals, helping them overcome adversity and embrace a future filled with promise and hope.

You can make a difference today.   Just $10 a month provides a menstrual kit for one young mother each term.  $50 provides supplies such as needles, sissors, thread, for a class per term.

$200 will provide the class the much needed new pedal sewing machines that can make the classes larger and reach more refugees.

Farming Skills taught in Ogul Village

Nestled amidst the picturesque countryside, Ogul Village boasts a well-deserved reputation for imparting invaluable farming skills to its younger generation. Each child in this idyllic village not only learns the basics of planting and harvesting crops but also gains a profound understanding of soil composition, irrigation techniques, and the delicate balance of nature.

These time-honored skills have been passed down through generations, cultivating a thriving agricultural community that sustains the village. The proud villagers of Ogul maintain a harmonious relationship with the land, leveraging their expertise to yield bountiful harvests year after year.

Amigos Internacionales spearheads this movement by establishing a Restorative Farm Community, introducing a goat farm, eucalyptus tree farm, beans, corn, and rice. The villagers diligently work towards success. The addition of a Hand Tractor by Amigos has simplified the effort, saving time for the gardeners and allowing them to engage in other activities. However, the village's pursuit of excellence doesn't end there.

Within this close-knit community, an ethos of innovation and adaptability flourishes. Ogul Village goes beyond traditional farming practices, encouraging its young inhabitants to explore advanced methods that incorporate technology and embrace sustainability. This progressive mindset positions them at the forefront of agricultural excellence. Ogul Village proudly stands as an exemplary community that cherishes its heritage while embracing the boundless possibilities of the future.
