Padibe Baptist Church: A Beacon of Hope in the Refugee Settlement
Welcome to Padibe Baptist Church, an emblem of faith and community in the heart of the Padibe Refugee Settlement. Our church stands as a testament to the resilience and unwavering spirit of the people, even in the face of adversity.
Under the dedicated leadership of Pastor Danish Ojok, our congregation continues to grow and thrive. Despite the challenges, such as currently meeting under a tree, the community remains hopeful. With the rainy season on the horizon, we eagerly anticipate the arrival of a tent from the Children's Home in Buikwe, ensuring our gatherings remain uninterrupted.
Our mission extends beyond spiritual nourishment. We are deeply intertwined with the broader initiatives of Amigos International, aiming to bring tangible change to the lives of those in need. From our commitment to feeding over 7 million meals this year to needy children and expectant mothers in Central America to our ongoing projects in Uganda, our reach is vast.
Your support can make a difference. Whether it's through donations, volunteering, or simply spreading the word, every bit helps. All contributions are tax-deductible, and those exceeding $500 will receive a statement of giving at the start of the subsequent year. Rest assured, we operate with full compliance as a 501(c)3 corporation in Texas.
Join us in our mission, and together, let's illuminate the path for countless souls seeking refuge and hope.
