Prossy is a jolly eleven (11) year old girl living in Gulu, Northern Uganda. She lost her mother at birth and suffers from sickle cells anemia. Prossy dreams of becoming a Nurse in the future. She believes that through education, she can be able to treat and take care of kids just like herself. But despite her grandmother’s endeavors to help her attain this dream through education, she irregularly attends school because she is constantly being sent home by school authorities to fetch school dues including school fees, uniforms, shoes, socks, books and pens and at times being too sick to go to school.
Being unable to attend to attend school like her peers in the neighborhood has greatly affected her self-confidence. Prossy, her siblings, cousins and their grand mum in the past weeks have been working in the garden to increase access to food and generate income by selling excess farm produce.
God can use you to help ease the pain of this innocent child. Your sponsorship can help fill the gaps and make a significant impact on her education and future.
