Prisca is thirteen years old and lives in a household with her grandmother and ten other dependents. Her grandmother is trying hard to keep her and the other dependents in school by working as a casual laborer in other people’s farms and selling excess crops harvested from the garden but she is overburdened and has to spend all her meager income to meet the large family needs like food, home repairs, and medical expenses amongst others not to mention Prisca’s education expenses.
Prisca hopes to become a Medical Doctor in the future and help the poor in her community to access cheaper medical care.
