Ivan is an eleven-year-old boy who lives with his parents, two brothers and a sister in Gulu Northern Uganda. He loves to help at home by sweeping the compound, fetching water and babysitting his little sister. Ivan enjoys school and he is currently in primary two where is favorite subject is integrated science.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing football with his friends; Ivan dreams of becoming a Medical Doctor when he grows up because he wants to help his community-fighting diseases such as malaria but his parents do not have the resources to provide adequate care and support for him and his siblings including meeting education expenses.
