Abel Opiyo

Abel lives with his parents, twin brother, and sister in a brick and grass thatched house in a very poor village in Northern Uganda where bad roads are still a challenge for the residents. His parents struggle to provide for the family since they are both peasant farmers. In his spare time, he enjoys playing football with his twin brother Gabriel. He dreams of becoming an army officer in the Uganda People’s Defense Force (UPDF) because he wants to serve his country and save lives and property.
